I’ve arrived at my second home, Disneyland, a few weeks ago and I am already Disney-homesick.
Is that even a thing?
Well, for me it is!
The reason why I say this is my second home because I have been an annual passholder for about 3 years already and I try to make a trip to the happiest place on earth every 2-3months.
Is that too much?
Well… I must get my money’s worth, right?
Plus, I just love this place!
My daughter and I love super hereos! We have a little geeky side if you haven’t noticed. She loves Captian America, like literally, everytime she sees him she puts on her shy face. As for me, I am a Thor type of girl. Not because of Chris Hemsworth, well maybe, but his power is strength and he kind of reminds me of Thundercats and He-Man even though he has been around forever;
but Like always, I am getting carried away with myself….
Our first stop was Tomorrowland. This is where we always start, then we work our way around and end the night right back here to enjoy the live music.
Churros, churros, churros…
I don’t know why, but something about the churros at Disneyland are just the bomb.com. It’s like I have to get a one! The best churros are in Tomorrowland and the California side at the boardwalk.
WELCOME TO FANTASYLAND!
Where all dreams come true….
hey, we are never to old to be young and have fun!
Even though this is the hottest spot at Disney. Seriously, the sun shines here like crazy in the summer and there is really no shade to hide. So make sure you have a spray bottle at all times.
I still love this land! My favorite ride is Peter Pan and my daughter loves dumbo.
On our first day, we had lunch at the Red Rose Taverne.
Beauty and the Beast is my all time favorite Disney movie so I just love the decor here. The food is pretty good too.
The first time I ate here was the same day they first opened and it was a mad house. Yes, it was all because of those red rose cups that everyone was going crazy for and I am not going to lie, I was one of them and scored 3 right before they had sold out. Yay me!
NEW ORLEANS SQUARE!
On another day, we had brunch at Cafe Orleans in New Orleans Square. I had the Monte Cristo Sandwich and it was very delicious.
It was pretty pricey but our thing we like to do everytime we visit Disney is to try different restaurants. We do have our favorites, such as Goofy’s Kitchen which is at the Disneyland hotel but if you take the monorail from Tomorrowland you will get there quicker. The best time to go is at brunch, dinner time is really good too but it is a little more expensive.
Sadly, we did not get the chance to go on the new Guardians of the Galaxy. The line was about 3-4hrs wait. From the time they opened to the time they closed, it had never gotten short and the fast passes were always gone in like less then an hour. Which was a bummer, but our goal is to ride it the next time we are here.
I did get the chance to buy a Jalapeno Groot bread which was pretty yummy and I got a lot of compliments on it while I was snapping a photo which does sound a little weird. (*laughing)
Oh hey there Goofy!
Ever since she saw Gaurdians of the Galaxy 2, she has been all about baby Groot.
Can you blame her?
He is adorable so I had to get this cup.
Last stop was at Route 66.
We always end our last night in Carsland. I love how it lights up and the rides just seems more fun at night.
Our next trip will be for Mickey’s Halloween party in September.
I am still trying to decide what our costume theme will be so if you have any ideas please help!
Will you be making a trip to Disneyland soon? Let me know!
